Speech and Language Therapist
Emily qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2011 from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. She is a member of RCSLT and registered with HPC.
During her training she has worked with adult clients with Aphasia, Dysphagia, Hearing Impairment (Cochlear Implant), and children with Specific Language Impairment.
Emily is Lidcombe trained to work with children who are dysfluent (stammer). She also has knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication systems.
For the autumn term 2011 Emily worked as a Teaching Assistant in a school for children with learning needs including autistic spectrum conditions, in Peterborough.
