Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Pippa qualified as a speech and language therapist from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BSC Second Class Honours in Clinical Language Sciences (Speech and Language Therapy) in 2009. She completed her RCSLT competencies in August 2011. Pippa is a member of the Health Professions Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

In 2010-2011 Pippa has attended CPD courses in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, "Play and Communication: A Non-Directive Approach", Picture Exchange Communication System, and Understanding Sensory Processing. She has attended 4 conferences and has 9 days clinical placements in specialist schools for pupils with dyslexia and speech, language and communication needs.

Pippa joined Wordswell in April 2010 and works full time with children and adults for regular weekly therapy. Pippa is clinically supervised by Janet O'Keefe (Principal Speech and Language Therapist and Director of Wordswell) and Jules Austin (Speech and Language Therapy Lecturer, University of Essex).

All our staff also have an enhanced police check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
